February 21, 200719 yr I disagree with the "A W is a W" argument to a large extent. Sure, it will probably help in the seeding at tournament time. But, in the end, these ugly W's will morph into ugly L's in the NCAA tournament. There is no such thing as an ugly Win! Yes, our 1st half was pathetic untill the last 4 minutes. 2nd half the Cats woke up, started hitting some of their shots and were able to pressure off of it better. Like I said in a quote of you ealier, your optimism amazes me. :lol: With that kind of outlook the sky is the limit

February 21, 200719 yr One page? I'm surprised that everyone was so satisfied with this game. When I saw on my cell phone at the Central game that UK was down 10 in the first half, I envisioned the message board in flames. Good that UK got the win. Can't be extremely satisfied with the margin of victory, but a needed win. Gotta bring it better than that on Saturday.
February 21, 200719 yr Also one more thing, I think those announcers must have been reading my stuff on here on BGP. Because I been saying for weeks now that it is like going 3 on 5 for us offensively with the starting lineup we got. I know people were laughing at me when I suggested having Meeks in the Lineup for Jasper, but I am glad to see people coming around now. Yeah Meeks is a good spark plug off the bench, but we need a spark plug in the starting lineup even more right now so we might not have to try to come back from 16 points every game...

UK didn't lose, so most of the people that keep bring that up probably wont be posting tonight.
February 21, 200719 yr It didn't work much so it wasn't a big factor... Early on it didn't work at all, but it did start to work alot more as the game went on, and most importantly it just got the team to actually play hard and got them moving. So IMO it was a big factor because if we didn't do that I dont think we win this game, because this team plays with no emotion when they just play half court...
