A 1 point win counts all the same as a 30 point win though.

In a world where perception effects rankings and seedings...you couldn't be more wrong.

UK didn't lose, so most of the people that keep bring that up probably wont be posting tonight.

You know...you're optomism is appealing...but can be mis-guided.

This I agree with you on... If the team were undefeated, I think the "win is a win no matter what" mindset works a lot better.... But when you've got 8 losses, the close games come into play and will have a lot of effect on the seeding.

Don't forget the committee looks at RPI and SOS and they are 8 and 3...So that will be huge at the end of the season...

I didnt think RPI was that major of a factor. RPI is a joke IMO.

In terms of rankings and seedings, you're right, but it terms of stopping a 3 game skid, it don't matter how it looks or by how much as long as you get the W.

WOW, I actually agree with you...

I didn't realize they were forced to use Lunardi's projections instead of their own...

Well lets see when they brought up the seeding they always said it as UK was being projected as a 6 seed, and now are projected as a 9 seed. That really didn't sound like they was saying in their opinion thats what they would be, it sounded like to me that they was going off something that they saw from somewhere else that is projecting the brackets. So if I was just hearing them wrong and it was just their own opinion then thats fine, but IMO thats not how they were saying it, and I just found it weird that they would be giving projections from somewhere else than from the own company the work at...

Not that big with their "last 10"

;) . . .it happens every now and then.

RPI has been shown to usually play a factor in what seeds teams get...

I know, but "IF" they can finish strong I think we will be OK...

Me thinks you pay WAY too much attention to the little things... ;)

I've been misguided my whole life. You get used to it.

Not nearly as much as you think...
