I think someone mentioned earlier that this win would help with their seed. Well it probably didn't help, but it certaintly doesn't hurt the seeding that much. I know one thing the announcers kept talking about how UK was a 6 seed and after this 3 game losing streak they are now a 9 seed. When however someone else who also works at ESPN and does the bracketology had UK as a 4 seed, and then had them as a 6 seed after the 3 game losing streak. I guess the announcers dont look at their own website when they look at the projections for the tournament...
February 21, 200719 yr UK is going in as a dreadful 7, IMO. Well of coarse obviously I hope we get better than a 7 seed. However I would much rather be a 7 or a 10 seed, than I would want to be a 8 or 9 seed this year...
February 21, 200719 yr I just realized on the box score that we only had six players score in this game. ALSO, the biggie for me is Jasper player 27 and had ZERO FG attempts...WOW.

February 21, 200719 yr 7 just keeps coming to mind for me... Of course I don't want 8 or 9... And I see UK missing the tournameny before I see them getting a 10 personally. If they win at Vandy and on Senior Day against Georgia, I see no worse than a 7. Maybe even a 5 if they win a game or two in the conference tournament.
February 21, 200719 yr Let's just slow down now... Nessler is Dickie V's main man. Two of the most annoying announcers in the game IMO. I know Vitale has passion, but I don't watch the games to hear some guy go crazy every two seconds. I watch to watch the teams play, and I think he takes away the attention from the game to himself.
February 21, 200719 yr Don't forget the committee looks at RPI and SOS and they are 8 and 3...So that will be huge at the end of the season...
