The Titans of Collins(5-2 0-1) make the trip to Woodford County to face the Yellow Jackets(5-1 1-0). Woodford leads the all-time series 8-1 winning all 8 in a row. Collins comes in with potential Mr. Football Kade Goodin who leads their high scoring offense. This will be Woodford's second home game of the season after being on the road 4 of the last 5 weeks(bye week in there). Game is going to be on Glicod this week.

I call these types of matchups at this time of year truth serum.

  • Woodford County with the answer, scoring on a long touchdown pass. It's 43-34 Woodford County with 6:04 left in the third quarter. This game may take 60+ to win.

  • This one should be a fun game. Woodford is tough but Goodin is straight out of a video game.

Wofo the better team. 63-28.

You may be correct, but Collins' Achilles appears to be teams that have a great ground game (Scott Co. loss giving up 462 yards and Spencer Co. loss giving up 460 yards). The ground game of WoFo not so much. Although I suspect Coach Johnson's D will hold Collins and Cade Goodin below his avg. of 400+ yds thru the air I'll take the Titans in a great spectator game 42-28.

If we get the version of Wofo that blew GRC's doors off in the second half, the Jackets will handle Collins by 3-4 scores.

If we get the version that struggled to put away Bourbon County in Week 2, Goodin and the Titans will run wild.

It's hard to say which team will show up.

I expect Goodin's mobility to cause Wofo problems, more so extending plays and drives when flushed from the pocket.

I'm torn on this one.

Good points and I share your mixed thoughts. Still thinking Gooden is far and away the best athlete on the field and his corps of receivers are really solid with big play potential on every play.

Woodford County wins, both teams will put some points on the board.

I'm just going on who the better team was lasts year and that was Wofo and they didn't lose much. However you're much closer to the teams than me, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I think Wofo was better than Scott last year and proved it...and I think they will again this year. Again, I'm not close to the ins and outs of players, injuries, etc.
