For what it's worth, I understand that Commissioner Tackett has NEVER reversed an on-field ejection. I could be wrong, but that's what I have been told.

That is not true. 1995, Dennis Johnson of Harrodsburg HS was ejected against Paris HS. He played the following week. I was the HFC at Paris the night he was ejected.

By KHSAA rules, they will not accept /listen to appeals for player or coach ejections UNLESS the appeal pertains to a misuse or misinterpretation of NFHS guidelines by the official/s who issued the ejection. In other words, if the ejection is a judgement call by the official/s regarding player or coach behavior, no appeal is allowed/accepted.

For streaming questions...I know there were discussions I heard about this game being a PPV from the HHS side. I don't know this for sure, so I can't give a link yet. I will update ASAP.

But one I will gladly pay for...I am excited and have some serious FOMO for this one.

My prediction: Boyle by 2-3 TD's. This will be a great game.

Yes, the first one was for something on the Lex Cath sideline and the second had something to do with his mouthpiece. That's the extent of what information has been made available. A bit light on the details.

Birds cannot turn the ball over and expect to win. This for me is to close to call. Just because Driver may not play does not make this an automatic win. Birds must bring their "A' game to win and pay close attention to subs and must be alert for potential trick plays.

It won't be overturned. He will sit a game. Ejections have been overturned when video evidence shows a punch wasn't thrown or a player didn't enter the playing field during a fight on the field, but not for being ejected for 2 unsportsmanlike or personal fouls. Those are judgement calls by officials.
