The actual court case was scheduled for February, not the appeal. The actual injunction he was just granted basically prevents the NCAA from punishing him until the actual case is heard. The appeal wi

Hmmm…. Just looked at the article you are referencing. It is talking about a teams QB situation and its tier heading into the season. Which that article is from two weeks ago when the assumption was h

All moot points the NFL just announced and are sending a letter to Sorsby that they will not be having a supplemental draft this summer, so Sarsby's only shot at the NFL will not be until the 2027 NFL draft.

CFL?

Sorsby may be up a creek for right now. No league in the world allows gambling on their team. The cynic in me thinks Texas Tech only caused such a stink because they'd paid him a fortune in NIL and they probably don't think they can be successful without him. I'd like to see Sorsby go back to Texas Tech University and be a student for a year and get the help he supposedly needs so badly without the distraction of football. Be interesting to see where the support from Texas Tech is if it's all give and no get on their end.

Everything I'm seeing, points to no.

Well, the CFL won't let Sorsby in this year either.  I smell a lawsuit a mile away.

I don't think he has any chance winning a lawsuit against a professional league - NFL, CFL, etc.

NCAA, he has already won there. It is Texas Tech or no football this year.

Or maybe some pro league like an arena league team will take him to get the attention?
