Cincinnati Reds (June 2026)

Reds defeat the Mets 5-3 and the won the series and it’s the 4th straight series win over the Mets. That has not happened since the 94&95 seasons. Also this the first time the Reds have back to back games since May 25 and that was also against the Mets as well.

That is just sad.  I know these guys are trying, but at some point you gotta just "go outside the box" with the approach.  The Brewers are definitely in the Reds heads (shoot, one could say the whole

Get the broom out.

Not today the Reds fall 9-1 today. Next up the Reds head to New York to take on the Yankees for a weekend series. That will be our sweep. ?

I'm thinking you better just leave the broom in the closet.  LOL

It is still 4-0 Yanks after 6.5 innings. It is not looking good but we still have two more shots at them.

The Reds leave a runner on but it is still 4-0 heading to the bottom of the 8th inning. At least we have 1 more shot to tie or take the lead. lol

Maxwell after a strikeout throws 8 ball in 9 pitches and then gives up a base hit to now make it 5-0 Yanks.

5-0 Yanks after 8.  It won't be long now.

Reds lose 5-0. In the loss they did set a new season record in striking out 17 of their 27 outs besting their previous record of 16. On to tomorrow with a first pitch time of 1:35pm. I will probably be watching the US Open. lol

I'll be probably watching the World Cup.
