The Reds are leading the Yanks 3-1 through 4 innings. It is taking a while with Diaz behind the plate several ball/strike calls challenged and over turned.

Just as I posted the Reds get a huge 3-run homer from Steer and now led the Yankees 6-1 after 4 1/2 innings.

6-1 Reds after 5 inning.  Abbott has threw 87 pitches.

Reds get out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the 5th as Abbott strikes out Goldschmidt on a called 3rd to end the threat.

Well it is now up to the bullpen with 12 more outs to get.

10-2 Reds after 8 full.

Reds win 10-2.

Reds and Yankees 0-0 after 2 innings.  Burns has threw 42 pitches already.

Reds up 3-1 after 7.5 innings this would be a nice 2 out 3 from the Yankees for this short 1 series road trip.

Reds pickup an insurance run in the top of the 9th to now led 4-1. The bullpen needs just 3 more outs for the win!

The Reds win! They defeat the Yankees 4-1. Next up beginning tomorrow is a huge 3 game home series vs. the Brewers starting tomorrow at 7:10pm. Go Reds!!

Needless to say, but we need at least 2 out of 3 games in the up coming Brewers series.

Reds and Brewers are scoreless heading into the bottom of the 9th. The Reds have only had 1 base runner and 1 hit in the game and the Brewers has only had 3 hits. A great start by Singer win or lose he went 7 innings of 2 hit ball.

Extra baseball. Not feeling good about this with our bullpen.

Reds lose 2-1 in 10 innings.  Should have won this one.
