Reds lose again and lose the series as the Brewers have now won 9 straight series in Cincinnati. The Reds held again to just two hits tonight. They in the last 19 innings have 1 run on just 4 hits and 27 strikeouts. Tonight both Brewers runs were on set up by two missed played balls that should have been made but were counted as hits. The Reds have to have a win tomorrow night!

That is just sad.  I know these guys are trying, but at some point you gotta just "go outside the box" with the approach.  The Brewers are definitely in the Reds heads (shoot, one could say the whole Central Division is in their heads).  I haven't given up quite yet but boy, I can see the edge of the cliff getting closer.

Lowder gets out of a small jam in the top of the 1st after a walk and a hit batter striking out two batters. Reds coming up, hopefully we have taken the bats out the freezer this evening. lol

Reds go hitless in the bottom of the first. They did get a baserunner as Myers walked.

The Brewers strand a leadoff single and it is still scoreless heading into the bottom of the 2nd.

The Reds get a leadoff single by Steer and then a ground rule double by Suarez and have 2nd and 3rd with no one out and still do not score. It is 0-0 heading to the 3rd that now makes 11 straight innings without scoring and have only scored 1 run in their last 21 innings.

Lowder gives up two homers in the top of the 3rd a 2-Run shot that could have been possibly caught then a no doubter and now trail 3-0 heading into the bottom of the 3rd.

In the bottom of the 3rd the Reds got a single by Elly after a strikeout by Myers then a single by Stewart and had runners on 1st and 3rd and then Steer hits into an inning ending double play. It is still 3-0 Brewers. The Brewers go in order in the top of the 4th.

The Reds get a leadoff walk but then go in order in the bottom of the 4th. The Brewers get two singles in the top of the 5th but fail to score it is still 3-0 headed to the bottom of the 5th.

In the bottom of the 5th the Reds fail to score again leaving runners on the corners. The Reds now have gone 14 innings without scoring and now have scored just once in their last 24 innings. UNREAL!!

Lowder goes 5 2/3 innings giving up 3 runs. Moll comes in and finishes the inning and it is still 3-0 Brewers.

Hey we finally get a two out hit as Dunn doubles to right and scores Marta scores and Stephenson to 3rd both Marta and Stephenson both had walked. The 14 inning scoreless streak has come to an end. It is now 3-1 Brewers after 6 after Elly lines to center to end the inning.

Well, we finally get a run and cut it to just 2 but then the bullpen (Antone) gives up a triple then a intentional walk then another walk and then Vaughn doubles and scores all 3 runners to now make it 6-1 Brewers heading to the bottom of the 7th.

6-2 Brewers after 7.  Same oh, same oh.

The Reds get 1 run back after doubles by Stewart and Suarez, but the Reds have a real shot to get back in the game but Bleday grounds out leaving the bases loaded. The Reds are at least getting some runners on but cannot get them in (baby steps I guess) lol they have now left 13 runners on base so far tonight. SAD!! Brewers still led 6-2 after 7 innings.
