That is just sad.  I know these guys are trying, but at some point you gotta just "go outside the box" with the approach.  The Brewers are definitely in the Reds heads (shoot, one could say the whole

    Reds win!!!!

Reds get out of a bases loaded 1 out situation and it is still 5-4 Pirates after 7 innings.

5-4 Pirates with one out in the bottom of the 8th, RAIN DELAY.

Well back from the rain delay Johnson walks back to back hitters and then gives up a 3-run homer and the very next batter Valdez hit yet another homer off of Red's pitching and now they have pretty much put this one away as they now led 9-4.

It has started pouring the rain again in Pittsburgh in the top of the 9th with 1 out and 1 on. I am sure they are just trying to get it over with.

Reds lose the last game of the series 9-4. Next up 4 in Milwaukee! Let's go win 3 out of 4! The big pitching matchup will be the Thursday game that will have Chase Burns going against Jacob Misiorowski with a 2:10 start. Go Reds!!

Do the Reds have any pitching that can matchup with anyone? LOL

If the Reds ownership group were into horse racing, they would try to enter a mule in the Kentucky Derby.  This team just is not a very good MLB team.

I would say about any team in baseball would take Chase Burns for their staff. He is 9-1 with 2.36 era. He is tied for 2nd in wins and 6th in era. Other than him I'd say no.

Yeah, I'm in agreement, but something is telling me his second half won't measure up to his first half.

If he repeats that first half performance, it will be the greatest rookie season by any pitcher in Reds history.

He probably has an innings limit that he will hit at some point.

Very much true, remember Wayne Simpson?

Yes, I think he went 14 or 15-1 before he hurt his arm.

The first game of the 4 game series between the Reds and Brewers start this evening with a 7:40pm first pitch with Nick Ladolo (2-2) with a 5.39 ERA for the Reds and Robert Gasser (1-3) with a 4.50 ERA. Go Reds!!
