Next up the Reds begin a 3-game series against the New York Mets the games tonight and tomorrow have 7:10pm for first pitch. The Wednesday game is a businessman special with the first pitch at 12:40pm. Go Reds! We need to have a 7 or 8 out 10 winning streak! 

The Reds picked up 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning on a ground out by Steer knocked in Dunn with a ground out and then Suarez hit a 2-run homer to center.

The Reds have picked up 6 more in the bottom of the 2nd with a walked in run and RBI single by Stewart and then Suarez hits his 2nd homer of the night this one a grand slam and the Reds now led 9-0 after 2 innings. 

Reds up 9-0 after 3 1/2 innings, but Burns has threw 76 pitches.  The bullpen is coming, so who knows what might happen.

Reds pick up another run on a Bleday 3-run homer to make it now 12-0 good guys!

Reds win the first game of the series with a 12-0 win over the Mets!

Reds jump out again tonight in the bottom of the first inning they start off with back-to-back walks and the Stewart with a 3 run home and it is 3-0 Reds with still no one out in the bottom of the first.

The Reds add a solo homer from Steer and now led the Mets 4-0 still in the bottom of the first with now 2 outs.

The Mets pick up a run in the top of the 3rd after Singer hit a batter then back-to-back singles by the Mets and the Mets leave the bases loaded and now it 4-1 Reds going into the bottom of the 3rd inning.

Reds still leading 4-1 after 4.5 innings.

Sal Stewart with his 4th RBI of the night with a single knocking in Arroya who got his first big league extra base hit and his first hit right-handed with a double to lead off the bottom of the 5th. The Reds now led 5-1.

Mets have cut it to 5-3 with two runs in the top of the 6th on a 2-run homer by Vientos. It is now 5-3 Reds in the bottom of the 7th.

The Reds are sending Santillan to try and get the save in the top of the 9th. ?
