Louisville 66 Pittsburgh 53

Lets not discount the team is finally seemingly to be healthy. I know injuries are a cop out in many ways but honestly with depth and some playing time under their belt this team is coming together at the right time and unlike many years under Pitino, this team should have fresh legs.

Pitt imo is Waaaaaaaaaaaay overrated. I haven't been sold on them all season.

Well, they have not really proved me anything to me all season...I say a second round upset for them...

Very nice win for the Cards. Pitt is not overrated, they are a very good team and UL beat them soundly tonight.

You all can try to drag the magnitude of this win down but the selection committee will not...

Not too many teams beat Top 10 teams, much less on the road. ;)

Congratulations to UL! This is a great win for them. This is their signature win, now as long as they get a pretty good record they will be in the tourney.

Great win by the Cards. I'm all for them winning out. Helps the Cats!

Cards played to their potential tonight.............I thought they were going to the dance already, so surely they will be in the field of 65 barring a unexpected collapse after this win.

Nice win for the Cards.

One look at the box score should tell you something. Williams didn't take most of the shots. He only took a handful, and only a couple of three's.

They worked it inside out with Padgett who had a big game.

Pitt is a good halfcourt team that likes to beat you down. They had a poor shooting night, but Pitino had a nice gameplan in pressuring their guards and forcing 19 turnovers. Once they got the lead they forced Pitt out of their gameplan. Pitt is not a very good comeback team.

They tried playing UL straight up and got burned.

Good effort for the Cards. Might the light finally be coming on?

They are now back int eh NCAA picture, but need to avoid a letdown. I think tonight has them moving in the right direction.

Where was the game played at tonight?

Regardless good win for the Cards:thumb:
