89-79 Miami wins and advances.

I’m happy for them that they won. I kind of thought it was a slap in the face that they had to be in this game but at least they made the best of it.

Why do you think it was a slap in the face? They did not have 1 quad win on their schedule?

I know that along with plenty others. They went undefeated on their regular season and teams refused to play them earlier on too. I’m not saying that they should have gotten a really good seed but I didn’t think a play-in game was deserved either.

We all know why they were in the play in game…. $$$$$$$$. But honestly after losing to UMass in the first game of the conference tournament I get it.

The experts always talk about the "Eye Test". If you watched that game it's pretty obvious they passed the eye test lol. If 5 or 6 teams play like they did last night that would be pretty good. I don't know about you other old timers but they will always be the Redskins to me. Darrell Hedrick always put together a really good preseason clinic for coaches in the area at Millet Hall.

Countless teams have lost in past conference tournaments and this one that wasn’t expected to in the bigger conferences. And it is about money, especially tv money when it comes to broadcast, I get that.

You mean to generate money from added ticket sales and to boost TV ratings for a play in game?
