Yes and no. It was a foul fest. That game was 2 hours 45 minutes long. Great drama though. Both teams playing on fumes at the end.

Some of those fouls and replays and such did take a little of the fun out of it for me too.

I still say they don't pass the look test.

Look test as in top 20 team? Agree. Not much strength or size. They will have to shoot very well to go anywhere in the tournament. But they can shoot. They run their offense very well and multiple offensive threats. They could create problems for big men on other teams in the tournament making them defend the perimeter. I'll be surprised if they win 2 in the tournament.

No. NCAA tournament. They are in. Zero doubt.

The streak is over, Umass 87, Mia 83.

I didn't say it. ?‍♂️

This was worst case scenario for them. To lose to a mid-major that is barely above .500! I don't know if they get an at large bid. Maybe they sneak into the first four, depending on what happens throughout the next few days, but what a heart breaker today. I really think they were safe and comfortable if they would have made it to, say, the semi-finals or finals of the conference tournament and then lost.

I hope they get a chance, they deserve to be a first four team, at the very least.

I do agree this was "worse case" for Miami.

On one hand I "hate to see it" but on the other hand they don't pass the look test and all this is, is some "feel good" story.

Well we will now see I guess as they lost their opening game in the MAC Tournament today. Currently Joe has them at 1 of the last 4 in. We will see Sunday evening.
