I am hearing Trinity dropped Moeller, Carmel and Douglass for next season? 

@thsrocks said that Trinity was looking for an early-season opponent in the announcement thread for Coach Lopez and the new Christian Co. School.

It would be strange for the Rocks to drop Douglas and/or Moeller and go looking for a game with a first-year program made up of two schools that have had very little success over the past several years. 

I’m for anything they do that helps their RPI. 

Trinity needs to drop PRP rather than FD.

Can we get by tomorrow first before we start worrying about next year ?

Going to be a tougher game for the Rocks than most expect. South Warren is no joke. I expect a Trinity W.

Coach Cobb coached Christian County for 15 minutes many years ago. That could be the connection. 

I would like to see them go bact to Tennessee. Brentwood Academy, Ensworth and the like.

Those Tennessee schools (MBA, BA and Ensworth)voted as a group to STOP scheduling Trinity. "They werem getting too beat up". The coaches I spoke to had a table at Hall of Fame dinner when Brad Lampley and Dennis Lampley were inducted into Trinity's Hall of, Fame. They were dead serious to save face, they all voted not to play Trinity!

Moeller is not going anywhere to my knowledge. Same for Carmel. Former Trinity Head Coach Kevin Wright ,the Carmel Head Coach, enjoys playing the Rocks. Moeller does not have a long list of schools who want to schedule them.

Trinity vs Boyle would be interesting. I think Boyle returns 8 starters on defense next year. 

Coach McPeek must have been offered some sort of out of state showcase to drop Trinity, especially with the 2026 edition being a home game. He has been really big into scheduling to give FD the best RPI score as possible.

I couldn't see any in-state matchups that would provide the RPI T does, unless he is scheduling South Warren or St. X, but why break the contract with Trinity for that? Interesting.

It is totally not true that Frederick Douglass dropped Trinity. I actually know this first hand that it was Trinity who called Douglass. 
Trinity AD approached Coach McPeek because they got offered a chance to play a national showcase the week we play and he gave them the blessing to do it. Coach McPeek didn't drop them and they did offered another week to play and Douglass already had a game. I don’t know why anyone on here would think that Coach McPeek and Douglass would drop or duck anyone. I expect sometime next week after Trinity wins the Championship today they will announce where and who this national showcase game will be against.

Have heard Trinity is playing a national road opponent for the first time in a long, long time. Don't know if it is confirmed so I will not say until I know, but I'm trying to remember the last time (if ever) this happened. 

Going to be tough after losing Shields, Beckham, Bratcher, Watson, Thompson, Frost, et al but we return a bunch of weapons too!
