Beechies - 42 Aces- 28

I love the 2 west kentucky match ups with Murray and Lloyd and Paducah and Franklin but this is the most intriguing match up of the weekend for me...another good week of high school football. Hut since OCATH is now part of western kentucky let's go OCATH in a close one.

LOL - Owensboro has always been Western KY (in our own eyes I guess!). It took me moving to Paducah to realize how FAR Western KY felt about it though.  I had a guy in Paducah tell me “we (Mcracken, Carlisle, Marshall, Calloway, Hickman, Fulton, etc.). are the West Coast of KY”…that is the separator.  West Coast KY and Western KY.  We all should be rooting for each other.  I hope Murray wins it all and hope PT does as well.  Count in Owensboro and OCath and we are well represented!

Beechwood will probably put a running clock on them.

No way!!!

Whats your predicted score?

Yeah, I think that prediction is a little over the top. I like Beechwood by 2-3 scores. The only way this game gets that lopsided is if the Beechwood defense totally shuts down Owensboro Catholic. Or, there always is the possibility the turnover factor can impact things.

OCath is a different animal at Steele.  I think they will be pumped and expect their best effort.  They are not a program that EVER lays down.  They will fight to the final whistle.

Will this game be online?

I can tell you that Beechwood certainly earned the Aces respect last year. In talking with Coach Morris and this years group of seniors, they know it’s going to be a very tough task tomorrow. They know that Beechwood has the talent to take advantage of every little mistake they could possibly make and will need to be hyper focused to have a shot. Safe travels to Tigers fans tomorrow. Hopefully it’s a great game.

We will have the call for Owensboro Catholic on KNews 101.3 in Owensboro. Here is the link… https://owensbororadio.com/player/?playerID=2265

I think this game will be a lot closer than many expect. A long trip for the Beechies as well.

Not going to be able to get to Owensboro tonight to see this game because of sickness. But I am expecting the Tigers to win this one, and I will be pulling for them to do so.

Show them your the best Beechwood get the win!

Owensboro is less than 10 minutes away from Indiana. Seems pretty west to me ??‍♂️

I'm going with Beechwood, Murray and PT, Beechwood is always a class act.

Beechwood is Beechwood for a reason. This program ain't going no where. Hiring Volker and him being a constant means the rest of 2A will always be looking up to the Tigers. See you in Lexington my friends.

About a 1.5 mile trek from Owensboro’s Rash stadium is Steele Stadium on Kentucky Weslyan’s campus…you are also right on top of the game here;
