Can we get more info on Corbin offense, defense and special teams?  Style of offense?  Type of defense?  Quality of special teams?  Who do they compare to in Kentucky?

Corbin opened the season with a new offensive coordinator. They ran a heavy dose of QB keepers the first few games. There were also injuries on the offensive side early in the season.

The offense began to show explosive passing plays vs. Pulaski Co. Made a lot of mistakes vs. FD. From Johnson Central onward, it has steadily improved. Their running game is strong, but not Johnson Central strong (Who else is?). Salmons has a strong arm, can pass, and he has several targets.

Junior Malachi Brown picked up an offer from Ohio State this Fall  Senior Eli Pietrowski has several D1 offers.

Highlands should win. But this is not a team to take lightly.

  • Beat on an illegal play? You think that you are so entitled in N KY that you can change the rules when you were clearly outplayed and out coached at Boyle. Bunch of cry babies when you lose. No illega

My concerns are what they have been all year and are all the more important now in week 3 of playoffs.  1) Playcalling - been improved over last 6 plus weeks, but importance is amplified at this stage

  • Will Highlands now look to move to 3A?

Do we have information on a livestream for this game yet?

Pietrowski is really good but Corbin this year doesn't use him on offense.  Doesn't fit into the scheme, I guess.  Waste of a talented young man.

Guessing same as last week.  Pay per view.

I would assume they will do what they did last week with the Hudl pay per view option BUT we haven’t received an email yet like we did multiple times last week…..  it’s only Tuesday though, I’ll keep us posted when that communication is sent out.

If the Birds are getting another state championship this is a great opportunity. Corbin will be better than the first two but not traveling is huge..... especially 175 +/- miles. You win running that thing in November and that big offensive line should wear the Redhounds down before they start throwing it over the top. They should enter the semis with less fatigue than most of the field.

Hudl is showing on their Website BUT I had to go to Corbin High School to find it and I did not see any payment information listed.

And there it is.  Now cheaper to watch video than attend in person.

Someone who was going to go, not going now over $2. Give me a break....

Any thoughts on moving the game to Saturday for better weather, larger crowds and thus more money?

It was meant with sarcasm.

Why create a disadvantage for yourself from a preparation standpoint.  Whatever weather comes you just deal with it unless severe.

I don't like the Saturday idea either from a preparation standpoint but doesn't bad weather favor the Redhounds?

Crowd size wouldn't change imo. People already made plans for a Friday game. And most made those plans weeks ago, Pretty much knew who would be in this game awhile ago. Unless its weather related to a degree of being dangerous, Friday night is when you play.
