  1. In order to slow the twins down, you often need to double team one or both of them. That frees up other defenders to rush or drop back in coverage.
  2. They have played 4 common opponents this year: Taylor County (Boyle won 48-3 away, Corbin won 49-14 home) Perry County Central (Boyle won 49-0 home, Corbin won 55-0 home) Lexington Catholic (Boyle won 56-21 home, Corbin won 30-10 away) Frederick Douglas (Boyle won 28-7 away, Corbin won 6-0 home) Corbin has not seen an offense like Boyle County this year. Boyle County has the best offense in the state. Boyle County has not seen a defense like Corbin's this year. Corbin has the best defense in the state. I know people may think that some defenses may be close to or better than Corbin's. I don't see it. Corbin was already good before the Smith twins arrived Jerod and Jacob hit differently than anybody else. Boyle County is favored and I totally get that. But I look forward to both teams bringing their best on Friday night. Neither team can afford not to.
  3. Corbin already had a good defense, but the arrival of the Smith twins defintely put it in a different gear. They can drop more players back in coverage now.
  4. Corbin's 1st team has not surrendered a touchdown all season.
  5. Turn over on downs Corbin ball. Corbin got pressure on the QB.
  6. Corbin timeout. They had 12 men on the field and had to call it.
  7. Frederick Douglas down to the 4 on a run. 1st down. 1:46 left.
  8. Corbi got pressure. FD QB buys time and completes a pass. FD 1st down at the Corbin 27.
  9. Incomplete pass. Jerod Smith got the QBs arm on the throw. 3rd down 2:15 left.
  10. Frederick Douglas catched a tipped ball and makes it to their 41. 1st down.
  11. Frederick Douglas run to the 34. Allen run. He is injured. He is limping off the field. 2nd and 3.
  12. Corbin tackled for a loss. 4th down at the 24. Corbin setting up for a FG, maybe. Timeout after letting the clock run to 4:24.
