  1. Corbin 14, Pulaski County 7 at the half. Pulaski County will receive the kickoff to start the 2nd half.
  2. The school and the town will treat him and his family well. Small towns are an adjustment. It's a safe town. It's definitely a football town without as many distractions as a larger city has.
  3. And Haddix ran way onto the field and nothing was called against Boyle.
  4. Haddix was running way onto the field and nothing was called.
  5. They sort of fixed it.
  6. Corbin scored at 11:01. The clock is still running after the XP. Down to 9:30 now.
  7. I believe that was Salmons’ 2nd interception of the season. His first happened on his first pass attempt of the season.
  8. This fog is getting intense.
  9. Corbin opened the season with a new offensive coordinator. They ran a heavy dose of QB keepers the first few games. There were also injuries on the offensive side early in the season. The offense began to show explosive passing plays vs. Pulaski Co. Made a lot of mistakes vs. FD. From Johnson Central onward, it has steadily improved. Their running game is strong, but not Johnson Central strong (Who else is?). Salmons has a strong arm, can pass, and he has several targets. Junior Malachi Brown picked up an offer from Ohio State this Fall Senior Eli Pietrowski has several D1 offers. Highlands should win. But this is not a team to take lightly.
  10. Four of their losses were to teams who are playing in semi-finals games this Friday (Highlands, Corbin, Great Crossing, LCA). The other two were to Boyle County and Madison Central. Most teams in the state would be 0-6 with that schedule.
  11. Myles Meadors was finally cleared to play for the first time this season tonight. I have seen him on defense.
  12. Corbin up 35-0 with one minute left in the 1st half. Corbin has focussed on running more than passing so far, and has been using more of the play clock before snapping the ball.
  13. If they don't find the shooter by Friday I'm wondering what the status of games in SE KY will be.
  14. In order to slow the twins down, you often need to double team one or both of them. That frees up other defenders to rush or drop back in coverage.
  15. They have played 4 common opponents this year: Taylor County (Boyle won 48-3 away, Corbin won 49-14 home) Perry County Central (Boyle won 49-0 home, Corbin won 55-0 home) Lexington Catholic (Boyle won 56-21 home, Corbin won 30-10 away) Frederick Douglas (Boyle won 28-7 away, Corbin won 6-0 home) Corbin has not seen an offense like Boyle County this year. Boyle County has the best offense in the state. Boyle County has not seen a defense like Corbin's this year. Corbin has the best defense in the state. I know people may think that some defenses may be close to or better than Corbin's. I don't see it. Corbin was already good before the Smith twins arrived Jerod and Jacob hit differently than anybody else. Boyle County is favored and I totally get that. But I look forward to both teams bringing their best on Friday night. Neither team can afford not to.
  16. Corbin already had a good defense, but the arrival of the Smith twins defintely put it in a different gear. They can drop more players back in coverage now.
  17. Corbin's 1st team has not surrendered a touchdown all season.
  18. Turn over on downs Corbin ball. Corbin got pressure on the QB.
  19. Video back. 27 seconds left. 3rd and goal from the 7.
  20. "Insufficent bandwidth. No video available." Great!
  21. Corbin timeout. They had 12 men on the field and had to call it.
