I like the Scotties in this one. First year HC Jackson Arnett has done a great job and may have brought some of that Nov. winning recipe with him from his time at Boyle.

End of 1Q

Glasgow 0

Union County 0

Halftime

Union County 3

Glasgow 0

Glasgow is trying to give this one away, a lot of penalties.

Union County gets stuffed in the at the 4 yard line, 1:25 left in the 3Q.

First play after the stop an Interception for the Braves. They start at midfield.

Glasgow up 7-3

TD Braves

10-7 11:13 4Q

Glasgow is missing their starting QB.  They had fantastic field position and drove into the red zone, but turn over on downs.  Union County leads and has the ball with 4:03 remaining in the game.  10-7.

Union County picks up a first down just outside the Glasgow 20.  2:18 left, Glasgow has no timeouts.

Union County attempted to bleed the clock to the end, running backwards to try to extinguish the clock, but leave 0.3 on the clock.  Glasgow gets the ball on their own 46 with one chance.

They tried the hook and ladder, but it did not work.  Union County wins 10-7.

I would’ve liked to see Gumm play the second half and see what would’ve happened but I won’t apologize for an 11 win season. Every team but one will be disappointed at the end of the season and the Scotties unfortunately will be one of them. But things are looking up I believe Arnett is a great young coach and the Scotties have a lot coming back next year with 4 offensive linemen and a lot of skill including Jaylen Bradley who can take it the distance at any time. They will have to replace their quarterback and we will have to wait and see which way they go with that.

I was looking forward to see the Scotties next week.  Guess it will be next year.  Congrats Union!! This win makes the Braves’ season a whole lot better.  CAL will thank them next week with a RC.  Now Lex Cath will travel to Murray.

38 yards of total offense with gumm in first half. Braves defense looked great on to cal!

Welcome to BGP @Union32!

Thank you!

Congratulations Union County!  Huge win!

This one surprises me because I expected the undefeated team to hold serve at home, but injuries are so tough this time of year.  My team has battled them all year.

The wrestling background the Braves have just keeps showing on the football field with great toughness.  Congrats on the win!

Great season Scotties!
