Or maybe Coach Volker's new baby boy born a couple days ago.

  • Why are people constantly crying about these outcomes? The goal is to win the state title. If you play Mr. Nice Guy every week, your team is going to lose it's game conditioning. We lost 57-0 to Bourb

Beechwood wishes they could play up. State rules don't allow it. St. Henry has 2 district wins and has a really good chance to finish 3rd in the district. It is a 6 team district. It will come do

Looks like pretty much the whole Tiger coaching staff is at Dickmann's tonight celebrating their big win.

Kudos to The Wood, that could have been SO MUCH worse.  Everyone knew this was going to be name your score, and Beechwood only scored once in the 2nd half.

Shame this game had to be played.

True. Beechwood starters didn't play in the second half. On offense in the second half, Beechwood ran the play clock down to the last second on every play.

St. Henry made things so much worse on themselves turning the ball over multiple times in the first half. Three of their first four possessions St. Henry turned the ball over including a pick 6. Then they fumbled again just before halftime. That gave Beechwood another possession that never would have happened with a running clock if St. Henry had just not turned the ball over.

So St Henry is tied for first in the district?

My friends and I wondered how high Beechwood’s score was going to get. I was just hoping to keep it under 80:classic_biggrin: count it as a win!

Glad they got the two-game win streak in before this one. Couple tough games coming up but should be a whooooooole lot closer. GO CRU!!

It was a great week… but not anymore. Beechwood is 3-0 in the district while St. Henry is 2-1

You really think the coaches wanted to play this type of game?  Then go on and keep beating your chest if it makes you feel better.

If St. Henry hadn't turned the ball over so much, it may not have been 60. It was the 4 turnovers including a pick 6 that pushed the score this high, with 3 turnovers in the first quarter.

We lost 57-0 to Bourbon Co and 62-0 to Highlands, none of the guys on that team complained about the score being to much.

Here is what the turnovers did. When Beechwood hit the running clock in Q1, I am pretty sure they had less than 150 yards of offense. Short fields, quick scores, pick 6 - that is how the score got out of hand.
