#8 McCracken County (it scarcely matters who comes from here as whoever survives that quadrant will be last in this group in RPI and frankly, dead men against South Warren)

This class is fairly easy to predict as many of these matchups should be lopsided and the ones that should be tossups, like Frederick Douglass/Ryle and Manual/St. X, won't affect much in the state semi round because their RPIs are each one apart.

A St. X vs. Trinity semifinal will be good for the gate because will be sold out. St. X will have to get through a good Manual team to get there though. Trinity should coast into the semifinals since most likely playing Madison Central.

I believe Trinity will be at South Warren the day after Thanksgiving. The Tigers will have to wait until 12/6 at 4PM for the rematch with the Rocks. I also am confident St Xavier will play Manual and Frederick Douglass along their playoff journey.

From KHSAA: For postseason competition in Class 6A, for 2025, Districts 3 and 4 will be cross-bracketed as Region 2 for playoffs, and Districts 5 and 6 will be cross-bracketed as Region 3 for playoffs. 

Someone please confirm the regions. District 1 and 2=Region 1? District 3 and 4 = Region 2? Thus placing South Warren and St X and Manual in the same half of the playoff bracket?  District 5 and 6=Region 3 and district 7 and 8 = Region 4?  This would make my previous post invalid.

The Rocks cannot face SW until the Championship game. Because the RPI is frozen from this point on, because Manual/St X will play one another in Round 3 if chalk holds up, eliminating one of them from the playoffs, a Trinity win in Round 3 vs another East Region team would raise the Rocks to overall #3 seed in 6A RPI, sending Trinity to the Manual/X winner in Round 4.

KHSAA bracket shows for 3rd round Districts 1-4 in West and 5-8 in East so I assume cross bracketing is only rounds 1&2.

D-Fire has it right. T will play Manual or X in the 4th round and will travel to whichever of those two is standing.

Barring some unlikely event, South will be waiting for the winner at Kroger Field.
