Memphis is considered the most mis-seeded team.  They were an average projection of 8 and got a 5.  A very quick perusal shows that 1 of the 111 projections on that site had them as a 5.

Listening to the interview with the AD of North Carolina, who is also the chair of the committee, I know they follow procedures. I just think it would make more sense to use a metric system (the NCAA already does it with PairWise for college hockey) and eliminate the eye test and/or any possible conflicts of interest. 

If anyone deserves to be mad over not being selected, it’s clearly Indiana and West Virginia. Both should have made it in over North Carolina and probably Xavier. The love affair with North Carolina continues, as expected.

I knew that North Carolina brand name was getting them in.  Absolutely knew it.

I think Missouri loses to Drake. The VCU vs BYU game could be fun. If BYU wins, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them make a run.

Auburn's reward for being the top overall seed is a very difficult draw.

Really surprised by that. I figured Louisville was a sure 6. I guess the weakness of the ACC drug them down, although it was enough to get Carolina in.

I was surprised to hear in comparing North Carolina and Indiana in that not only did the Tar Heels only have 1 Quad 1 win but they had a Quad 3 loss to Stanford and it was at home and Indiana all of their losses were Quad 1 losses.

They got screwed on their seeding and Memphis was over seeded. 

Louisville's mis-seed is a really bad break for Auburn. Auburn will be playing a potential 4-6 seeded team in the second round. Kinda like when Wichita State got penalized by UK being under seeded.

It's not going to matter, Louisville doesn't have the horses to play with Auburn. 

So while it will be an 80/20 crowd in favor of Louisville, the NCAA is happy. Auburn advances and they get Louisville's money.
