Taylor should be able to win district now that they've headed West. They should be a lot better than what they showed last year. Seeing them lose like they did to Letcher in the playoffs was surprising. 

Coach Parkey has informed me that there are a couple of fluid situations going on right now with the schedule but they expect to have them ironed out in the next week or so. I'll update once the changes have been made.

Did that fella that ran for 3100 yards at John Hardin transfer or something?

No. But with what Taylor loses and what they bring back I think they should be competitive enough to win it. Being in a district with Boyle was tough for trying to win it. 

I think Taylor wins district, and not out of the question going 10-0. Not sure about the first team they play, but the others they should have a chance to win I would think.

They'd definitely lose to Battle Ground Academy, but I believe that's one of the games still being ironed out. Meade should be a loss, and Hart is a very possible loss. Them and John Hardin will be a battle for that district.

For Battle Ground Academy, the comparison would be CAL at the Sayre tuition price.  Pretty expensive to attend there.  BGA was runner up in the TSSAA D2-AA division (middle division of the three private school classes in TN).

If Battle Ground is on the level of CAL I agree that is a for sure L. Meade, Hart, and John will all be tough games, but they are games Taylor should have a chance to win. Taylor was very young last year, and the QB missed the entire season. I look for them to be much improved this year.

Hart County is currently showing an away game vs. McLean County on Sep 12 on Arbiter, so I'm assuming that's part of the fluid situation Coach Parkey mentioned for Taylor County's schedule.

Did Taylor County have a player transfer to Somerset?

I expect Hart to take a big step back this year they only had 40 players last year and 18 were seniors.

I think it would be odd to scrimmage Metcalfe Co and then play them the first game of the season.
