That was about as hard a hit as you can receive in a football game. Beechwood was holding their breath after that hit and Burch did show his toughness and leadership getting right back in the action after that hit.

Thank you for letting me know that. I was surprised to see that number of passing yards and that explains it.

Yes ^. Typically, not a fan of JV highlights, but you can see the arm talent. The throw at 1:00 is ridiculous. If I was still coaching, I would be extremely interested in pairing this with two stud pass catchers in the same class.

Make that 3 stud pass catchers.  Fryman, Pabst and Aerosmith and then don’t forget about Sowder at TE.  Definitely would get the TE more involved in the offense when he is on the field.

Appreciate the video. The potential is there. Needs to lose the pat the ball before throwing tick but a lot of good looking plays in that video.

That is simply not true. Majority of players that play college ball, were multi-sport players. The whole you need to focus on one sport in order to play in college is simply false. A lot of college coaches even like the fact that players are multi-sport athletes.

On the eligibility question, Cash Harney was able to transfer from Beechwood to CCH a couple years ago so why wouldn't Queen be able to get eligible at Beechwood?

Transferring from a private school to a public school should help.  It’s not cheap to go to Covington Catholic so the family definitely has a legitimate reason for transferring.  Where does the Queen kid live?  Maybe his family will move into the Beechwood school district.  If so I see no reason why he would not be eligible next season.  If he is, look out because with those 3 skill guys Fryman, Pabst and Arrosmith (RB or WR whichever position they play) that offense will not miss a beat from this season.  There is a little work to be done up front but the cubbard is definitely not bare.  And all of players including Queen are sophomores so 2A will have to see those dudes (and they are dudes) for the next 2 seasons.

I would absolutely start Fryman at QB…..kid is elite, special, and has the “It” factor and just ooozes confidence and that’s want you want in that position…..He needs the ball in His hands every play.  Nothing against the other options as they are all good players, but Fryman brings another talent level overall to the position.

And yes, I am one of those CCH Folks not high on Queen especially with what we having coming in the pipeline and based off what offense we run.  That said, Hayden has just about the most special arm talent I have seen in a while at the QB and He could move and move very very well.  Queen cannot move…..at all.  And I would worry after now arriving at His 3rd school since August 2023, and not starting at anyone of them(still TBD at His current 3rd school Beechwood), that He is chasing something He cannot catch and has lost His confidence.

I agree Fryman is special and he could be very effective at QB but I think he is better when he has the ball out in space.  I would start Queen at QB and I would play Fryman at WR and run some wildcat with him.  I would try to get him at least 25 touches a game.  You have to remember that he is also very very good on defense and if he plays QB he probably plays less D.  You also have Pabst, Aerosmith, Bo Sowder and Brody Aylor who are all really good.  Offense should be elite the next 2 seasons.  Still have to figure things out up front and on defense but the Tigers should be the favorite in 2A again this year.

It is going to be interesting to see how the coaching staff puts the pieces in place on offense. Some very good options with or without Queen. Coach Hergott's offenses have been successful with QB's who are excellent running the ball and QB's who don't run the ball at all. His offenses have been pass focused and they have been run focused. This past year there was a focus on balance between running and passing. What will the coaches see as the best arrangement for this 2025 talent?

In general, yes, I don't think three schools in three years is a good sign. However, QB is a different position where only one guy plays as opposed to DB, DL, WR, etc. 

The two guys Queen was behind were:

- A kid in the same class who had 2k yards of total offense as a sophomore in the GCL South. (https://gcls.gclsports.com/fbPlayerStats.aspx?player=780424) 

- Probably the most dynamic athlete Cov Cath has had in the last 10 years who throws it just ok enough to stick at QB. 

If I was Beechwood fan, the transfers would not scare me off, and I think you got a really good player. 

His film looks great I think Beechwood got an early Christmas present.  And if he doesn’t work out you have multiple great options with Bo Sowder, Cole Coppage or what CC Highway suggested with moving Fryman to QB.  It’s really a win win situation for Beechwood and personally I think the doubts around Queen are probably coming from disgruntled Cov Cath fans who are ticked off that he transferred to Beechwood.  As I said earlier with Queen and all the playmakers Beechwood has the offense is going to be elite for the next 2 years.  If you are going to beat Beechwood you better put 40-50 points on the scoreboard.
