IAmAFan
^ Duke actually played very well, and the crowd was supremely in it...but with a lot of the high school kids today....Duke -vs- UK in a recruiting battle...Duke would win....with the environment in Cameron, and the exposure Duke gets...plus all of the success they have had in these kids' lives....really a no brainer. All the successful Duke players in the NBA compared to UK.........HMMMMM No whater?
TubbyCAT
There have been rumors that PPAt didn't like how mall Cameron Indoor Stadium was, so I am not sure which to believe!
The Breeze
If he wants to go some good coaching and a better shot at the NBA, then he needs to go to Duke or UNC.
HammerTime
If he wants to go some good coaching and a better shot at the NBA, then he needs to go to Duke or UNC. Maybe UNC but how can you figure that. UK has prbably had more good Pros than Duke.
LSURock
All the successful Duke players in the NBA compared to UK.........HMMMMM No whater? Can someone with knowledge of the NBA compare the two schools current NBA players. That might be interesting. I wouldn't blame a kid for getting excited about Cameron Indoor, its about as crazy as it gets.

IAmAFan
I think Patterson is a great fit at UK. I hope he comes, and if he doesn't KY won't have a PF for the 3rd year in a row next year.
02Ram54
What about UK's McD's? There's a pretty good chance that all three might be considered 'flops' at the end of their careers. Duke gets a LOT of burger boys, and not all of them pan out. But that's true of these kids everywhere. Duke has more NBA potential players than just about anyone else, but there's only room for 150 starters in the entire league. Only room for maybe 50 regionally recognizable household names. LSURock
Neither list is very impressive as far as superstars go. It certainly isn't a no-brainer though. 13 for Duke, 12 for UK. Both lack star quality.

Just flipping throught the lists of different school's "alumni in the NBA". I would pick UConn as the strongest group of current NBA talent.
