January 31, 200719 yr ^ Duke actually played very well, and the crowd was supremely in it...but with a lot of the high school kids today....Duke -vs- UK in a recruiting battle...Duke would win....with the environment in Cameron, and the exposure Duke gets...plus all of the success they have had in these kids' lives....really a no brainer. All the successful Duke players in the NBA compared to UK.........HMMMMM No whater?

January 31, 200719 yr I think Patterson is a great fit at UK. I hope he comes, and if he doesn't KY won't have a PF for the 3rd year in a row next year.
January 31, 200719 yr What about UK's McD's? There's a pretty good chance that all three might be considered 'flops' at the end of their careers. Duke gets a LOT of burger boys, and not all of them pan out. But that's true of these kids everywhere. Duke has more NBA potential players than just about anyone else, but there's only room for 150 starters in the entire league. Only room for maybe 50 regionally recognizable household names.
