That is a big win for Ryle!  I assume they had their football players back for this one?  Anyone have any details?

    WOW! Big victory for the Raiders. After losing their first three by an average of 4.3 points Ryle gets their first win of the season and over one of the perceived top teams in the region and state. 

    Seems the arrival of their football guys is a big impact. Landon Lorms led the way with 17 in the win. He's fresh off a season on the gridiron where he had 958 yards and 14 TDs receiving. He had recorded 147 yards and 3TDs in the 6A title game vs Trinity on Saturday.

    Big win for Ryle and I am not surprised on bit.  They gave Newport all they could handle last year.  Ryle has a very good and they play very hard!

    Going to be an interesting year in the 9th region. The Wildcats are very beatable with or without Rondon.

    Agreed, Yamil is a great player but only moves the needle so much for them team wise.

    What happened to Newport being far and away the best team in the 9th?

    The loss of Taylen Kinney is pretty obvious I would say. Without him, I did not expect them to be the best team in the 9th.

    Jabari Covington and Deshaun Jackson were also huge losses for this team. Not just Taylen.
