UL's Rocco Gasparro is Upset...

Featured Replies

Funny you ask. Mike Kehoe has gained much acclaim by being the club pro at Campbellsville Country Club. In fact, Mike Kehoe was recently named the Kentucky Section Merchandiser of the Year Private Club Division: http://www.pgamediaguide.com/sectionawards.cfm?sectionid=17

Looks like he can really sell those golf shirts.

When you think of famous golfers it's Tiger, Phil, Kenny Perry and Mike Kehoe.

This story keeps getting better as he refers to himself as "one of at least three Danvillians who have lettered and become nationally known due to the University of Louisville's athletics department." PGA Merchandisers all across the land are rejoicing. :dancingpa

He even wrote a letter of apology to UK fans when the Orange Bowl spokesman made of fun of the Music City Bowl at a UL basketball game.

Now that was funny...

I didn't know you were such a Vaught fan CR. I know he has had a lot of nice things to say about Jefferson County football (i.e. Trinity) in the past. I agree though. Rocco should not have dropped down to Vaught's level.

It is an unprofessional overreaction, but I understand where it is coming from.

I'm not a fan of Vaught and I don't think I ever said I was. Too biased and many times his arguments aren't logical.

I would love to know TD's opinion on this.

Things to do list for the week of Jan. 29, 2007

Call ESPN and ask why Kentucky's game highlights are shown before Louisville's highlights.

Call the Courier-Journal and ask why the story on the Rich Brooks contract extension contained 70 more words than their story on the Bobby Petrino contract extension, given the Petrino extension was worth more money.

Call local legislators to inquire about the feasibility of moving the state capital from Frankfort to Louisville.

Renew subscriptions to all daily newspapers that employ a columnist to track UK sports.

Renew the subscription to the newspaper that tracks UL sports.

Draft letter to Rivals.com disputing the rank of Louisville's recruiting class. Send copy of the "Gasparro Theory" that ranks a class based on final season ranking.

Prepare press release detailing Louisville's fifth ranked recruiting class in the nation, compared to Kentucky's 35th ranked class.

Send e-mail to FOXNews inquiring about lack of Democratic programming, and why CNN has the monopoly on this.

Call Dr. Ramsey and ask why the assistant dean and vice-presidents get larger parking spaces than the assistant SIDs.

Call son's youth soccer coach and question why the opposing team got a 12 oz. juice box and two Little Debbie snacks while we only got bottled water and Ritz crackers.

Get Green contact lens refills.

Fletch,

That is really funny. Thanks for the laugh this morning. Even the die hard UL fans in my office got a laugh out of that one.

I think you did. That's a first for the college forum.

Very imature actions for a SID I bet he hears about it from TJ.

I would love to know TD's opinion on this.
