Hayden to Fryman for a first down out to the 44.  Big time play by Beechwood at a critical time.

Looking back, this play was so big for Beechwood.

  • And possibly the greatest all around football player to ever suit up for Beechwood.  D1 QB and made almost every tackle on defense as a LB.

Yeah but I believe Beechwood has better Football players.

Even when Beechwood isn't the more talented team, their well earned reputation for superior preparation and execution can carry them to victory over bigger, faster opponents.  But when those elem

Cusick catch at the 5.  And Hayden was flushed out of the pocket to the right, another big time play.

Both are very impressive.  I’ve been out pock a couple years.  Any of the Beechwood players signed to play at next level.

And these are long, media timeouts everyone.

Super long 1:30 secs for everyone! ?

I think OCath is fortunate it isn't 28-7 at half.  Beechwood's lines are quite a bit better.  Atwell, Carrico and Crowe are great athletes, but Beechwood has guys too.  #8 for Beechwood is really impressive as is their QB, as Guru mentioned he is very composed back there.

I want OCath to make it a game, but they have to stop Beechwood coming out of halftime and then score.  Then they have a chance.  Don't do that and it's a long road.

What a great half for the Tigers!!!!! This is a 4 quarter affair so have to keep playing with the same intensity in the 2nd half. Defense has been really good that has to continue this OC offense is good.

If (the proverbial if) scores to start the 2nd half this game will in all likelihood be over.

I am not the expert there, I will let some of our super Tigers here on BGP answer.

If beechwood punches one in to start the 2nd half then it’s over with.

At the end of the half, if Beechwood had a timeout left. They could have had a free kick after a fair catch if Ocath punted. A lot of ifs....

Right but if Beechwood had a timeout left I assume OC would not have called the timeout after the Edge run.  Lots of if then stuff.

Anyone who saw last year’s title game knows Owensboro Catholic is still in this till the final horn sounds.

Great half by Beechwood but it takes two halves to win a title.

If Beechwood scores a touchdown to start the third quarter, OC may be in trouble.

2nd half getting ready to start.

OC kick when out of bounds.

Tigers start on their 35 and hand it off to Flaherty for 2.
