Congratulations to Ryle on their continued postseason and a very impressive win. Congratulations to St X on a good season too. It’s unquestionable at this point that Ryle is a very legitimate contender for the 6A state championship. 

The Raiders have amped it up several notches as the season progresses. We certainly hope that the injury to Jacob Savage is minor. Ryle has a bunch of really tough ballers but Jacob is the unquestioned leader on offense and defense. His 80-yard TD run on the first play from scrimmage where he even outran the safety with an angle was impressive along with his Superman 5-yard flight into the end zone. The Raiders will remain humble and hungry. Congrats to them on the big second-round win. Nice season for St X, yet disappointing for them.

It was a great win by the Raiders!  And nice to see the cannon after a 24 yr hiatus!

I would like to know from the X folks why the Tigers seemed like such a different team the second half of the season. Something internal going on?

The big difference is the ability to pass the ball effectively that they did not have in 2006. Pass rush is also far superior this year, and Jacob Savage is a force on both sides of the ball.
