Final.

Trinity will host Fern Creek in 2nd round.

Could have literally been any score that Jay Cobb wanted.

Was 63-0 and had the second-half kickoff return TD called back because the official felt bad. And then Trinity took a knee inside the 5-yard line with like 4 minutes left in the third quarter.

So bad.

Makes no sense why KHSAA keeps insisting on playing this first round.  Need to only allow top two from each district into playoffs IMO.

Check out the scores from the last 2 nights

If I’m not mistaken, doesn’t the KHSAA get the gate from the playoff games?  They pay for officials, but they get the gate.  If so, that might be part of why the first round games.  Again, please someone correct me if that’s changed.

Or give the 1 seed a bye and let 2-3 play the first round.

No. KHSAA gets the gate from the championship games only. For the first 4 rounds, the two schools playing one another share the gate.

Southern had little to zero fan support. I understand you know the outcome, but for parents to not show up to cheer where they can has to leave kids heartbroken and unmotivated.

Most amazing thing I saw in the stats was this:

Score at half:  56-0 T
Trinity Time of Possession in the first half:  2:33
