#1 Oregon - vs Washington

#2 Texas - Kentucky, at Texas A&M

#3 Miami - vs Wake Forest, at Syracuse

#4 Boise State - at Wyoming, vs Oregon St

#5 Ohio State - vs Indiana, vs Michigan 

#6 Penn St - at Minnesota, vs Maryland

#7 Indiana - at Ohio State, vs Purdue

#8 Notre Dame - vs Army, at USC

#9 Alabama - at Oklahoma, vs Auburn

#10 Ole Miss - at Florida, vs Mississippi St

#11 Georgia - vs UMass, vs Georgia Tech

#12 BYU - at Arizona St, vs Houston

BYU and Colorado both control their own destiny, win out and they meet up for the Big 12 Title and berth in the CFP.

Mountain West will probably come down to Boise St and Colorado St (maybe UNLV) for the right to play for the automatic CFP berth.

ACC will come down to a combination of SMU, Clemson and Miami. SMU seems to have the smoothest path to the ACC title game followed by Miami and then Clemson.  ACC is in all likelihood a one bid conference this season.

The B1G currently has 3 schools with a chance to play Oregon in the title game, but in all likelihood Penn St is a long shot as the winner of Indiana and Ohio State will only have to beat a hated rival the week after playing each other to get the other B1G Title slot. There is a good chance the winner of the B1G title ends up with the #1 seed. The B1G is set to get four teams (Oregon, IU, Penn St and OSU) in the CFP unless something crazy happens the next two weeks 

SEC is clear as mud. Texas or Texas A&M can either one win their way to Atlanta and the SEC Title game. There is even a crazy chance they could meet again in Atlanta after finishing the season with each other. The SEC could conceivably end with six schools with a 10-2 record with five having a 6-2 conference record and one being 7-1. The SEC is looking at four berths. Texas is the only team in the mix that can probably lose one more game and still get in. After that it's a toss up that really doesn't get much clearer after this week.

I'm not going to try to figure out all the SEC tie-break scenarios this week, maybe next week.

Short of an upset loss to either Army or USC Notre Dame is in.

Interesting in the rules are if the playoffs started tomorrow Ohio State, Georgia, Penn State, & Notre Dame would play in the first round and Boise State would have a bye.

Things are showing how weak the Big XII is as a conference. Alabama, Ole Miss, and South Carolina is ranked consecutively behind Clemson. The game on Saturday between Clemson and South Carolina is huge, far bigger than I assumed it would be earlier on. I think the ACC is definitely bringing two teams, could three be possible for it? As bad as the Big XII is, their conference champion maybe gets in still when all is said and done.

They should be out in my opinion. Their losses to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma are bad enough in my opinion. And you can bet Auburn is going to throw everything at them. I really wouldn’t be surprised if Auburn beats them Saturday.

If you can't win your conference, that's the price you pay. Most years the Big 12 champ will be ranked above Boise or the other non power 4 conference champs. Boise getting a bye has more to do with big 12 being bad.
