January 29, 200719 yr The Bears should pay it and send a note to Reggie saying the weather is REALLY nice in Florida right now. : )
January 29, 200719 yr The Bears should pay it and send a note to Reggie saying the weather is REALLY nice in Florida right now. : ) At first thought it's nice, but two classless acts isn't what the league had in mind I don't think...
January 29, 200719 yr He deserved to be fined. They should also consider doing the same to the guys on defense that taunt after making a great play.
January 29, 200719 yr I like Reggie Bush, and I think he's good for the league, but the taunt at Urlacher was bad. Urlacher is one of the league's marquee players, along with Manning and Tomlinson. You don't do that to those guys.
January 29, 200719 yr What did he do? Pointed back at him after an 80 yard TD pass, when Urlacher was covering someone or somewhere else.
January 29, 200719 yr Pointed back at him after an 80 yard TD pass, when Urlacher was covering someone or somewhere else. He was chasing behind him about 10 yards back.
January 29, 200719 yr He was chasing behind him about 10 yards back. My point was that Urlacher had nothing to do with the coverage and Bush taunting him was pointless.

January 29, 200719 yr I dont think it was that big of a deal, he immediately appologized after the game
January 29, 200719 yr I dont think it was that big of a deal, he immediately appologized after the game I agree. So did the NFL. 5 grand to Bush is pocket change.
January 29, 200719 yr I just heard on espn where Bush will not appeal the decision/fine and he also is adding anther $5,000 to a fund with/about L. Smith and T. Dungee about asst. African American coaches becoming head coaches (didn't hear all of it or what it is specifically about). Anyway, with him not appealing and this I hope that he is realizing what crap like that looks like. I still would love to see ALL players cut the dance/pointing/celebration acts and just play football. Imo it is ridiculous. Take the Barry Sanders (and others) approach..................when you score/get into the endzone, etc. - hand the ball to the official, go back to the sidelines. In other words, act like you have done it before and plan on doing it again in the near future.
