Final.

Very close game.

That’s an interesting score.

The game could have gone either way.

?

Madisonville beat them 52-14…..I didn’t know the game was tonight thank God.  No words can express…..that’s laughable effort either by the coaches, players or both.  Ready for fall break I guess.  Embarrassing,

Wow… didn’t expect that.  I would like to know more on how the game was played.  Marshall was handled by 1A Bethlehem (no disrespect).

Past Owensboro teams would have blown this team out. Surprised this close.

I need some details on this one.

I’ve only watched a little, but O was driving 1st drive and fumbled in M territory (Delacey).  Evan Hampton had a TD called back, I know of 1 interception they threw near the EZ (I would guess a couple of more turnovers).  O should have no problem moving the ball, but Int’s and fumbles are part of the low score. Giving up 14 isn’t terrible, but this O team is up and down - right with CAL and OCath, kill Graves, now this.   Par for the course for the last 2 years.

The Devils definitely slept walked into this game. Marshall played with a lot of momentum and the Devils didn’t get any pressure on the QB all night. To add to what @Tigerpride94 said past Owensboro teams would have blown this wide open. This team isn’t your usual Owensboro team.

Could it be time for a change on Frederica Street?

Please move O out of the top 10 in 5a immediately,.

The up and down nature needs to come to an end that’s forsure. These kids need to come ready to play at their best capacity no matter who’s in front of them. If this game were played again I doubt it’s this close.

In 2020 the Devils played for a State Championship. In 2024 they beat South and played in the Semi Finals, losing to the clear State Champ, BG.

Not sure what the expectation is but Owensboro didn’t win a title with Tut & Hall, or one with Miller & Smith… not sure why they would win one with Hampton.

I’ll defer to O fans.
