For the record, I believe it is quite easy to hate a team and not have it dilute the interest for your own team. I hate Florida in two sports as a UK b-ball fan and FSU football fan and I get on just fine. I think though it's silly if any UK fan hates Duke still for '92. Taking it too seriously if it still hurts that badly. If you hate them for some other reason, carry on I suppose.

Duke was number one by a large margin, so it isn't just on BGP that they get trashed by opposing fans. Proof please...while your at it, show the same one that puts him near the top as one of America's very best .

January 28, 200719 yr Face it, Duke and Coach K are not well liked outside of Tobacco Road, its not just UK fans that take pleasure in seeing them lose. As far as on BGP your threads (McRoberts as POY) for example don't help. I can't see anyone other than a Duke fan believing this, so of course your going to get the responses that you get. I would think that since you double as a Notre Dame fan as well, you would be used to this type of respones. It seems that LSURock can't seem to stay out of a Notre Dame thread either, but I really doubt that it lesses his fervor for the Tigers. You would experience the same response if you were a fan of the Cowboys or Yankees. Lets face it.. RP can't handle the truth.. It's no use trying to explain it to him.

I figured everyone already knew it. However, here is one that I found from NBC. You shouldn't act like this is that big of a suprise. Yes, they are listed among the favorite teams of people across the US. However, they've never to my knowledge been listed as the MOST popular team. January 28, 200719 yr I never could understand why there's so much hate for a team. All they want to do is win just like any other team. These are kids just like our kids at home, and I think we need to have more respect for all. To me ,it's just wrong to hate any team for any reason. Now, that's my sermon for the day.Have a good day everyone.
