Last week St Edwards played and beat St Joseph Prep who's the #1 team in Pennsylvania, currently ranked 28th in the nation, and has multiple kids committed to play Power 4 football, with 2 of them being committed to Ohio State, so definitely not a slouch of a team

Who are you referring to?

If you have to ask, I’m referring to ya most likely.   I knew who St Edward’s played before I asked.    I think Boyle is just that good myself.   They have 6-7 power 5 recruits.   They have a 2 sophomore TE that will rivals top 100 their senior year.  They have a 2 very very explosive players and possibly the best in the state in Quissenberry and Brown.  They have experienced coaching. The OL coach was a Dallas Cowboy. The OC is possibly the best HC in the state.   Again, maybe Boyle is just good enuf to make a team look bad.  It’s possible. They beat a Nationally Ranked team and a few of ya say they played bad.   And scored every offensive possession.   And held every defensive possession in the second half.

Use the quote feature Chief, it helps…

I specifically said Edwards looked bad BECAUSE of Boyle.

This is surely satire.

Why would it be.

Top 10 in the COUNTRY?

Based on what, exactly?

Between this, and Notre Dame losing at home to Northern Illinois, has anyone checked in on NewarkCatholicFan?

Just got back in from my games yesterday.
Boyle County dominated the second half.
It was cool to go down to the field and speak with Coach Haddix after the game.
I set on the Boyle County side and will say those fans are very passionate.

Love that N.D. showed the nation they were overrated again. As I posted I set on the Boyle County side and cheered for them. I am great.

Same on St. Edward.  I don't want to take anything away from Boyle because they were tremendous today but I was unimpressed with the Eagles.

St Edwards is a very good football team.  QB is excellent.  Running back is a D1 player.  They were very disciplined and played Boyle even for a half.  I think they’d beat any other team in KY.  I felt like their line was disciplined and their linebackers filled holes. This was an excellent FB team that the Boyle County Rebels beat.  Let’s not take away from St E and recognize how well the Rebels played.  One of the best HS FB games I’ve watched.

Who Ya With!!!!!

Fwiw, St. Edwards came into this game riding a 20 game win streak vs non-Ohio opponents.

St. Ed schedule is a meat grinder:

8/31    H    Saint Joseph's Prep (PA) (1-1)        W    35-21
9/7    H    Boyle County (KY) (3-0)    [III]    L    21-38
9/14    H    Elder (3-0)    [I:4]
9/20    H    Massillon Washington (2-1)    [II:7]
9/26    H    Glenville (1-2)    [IV:13]
10/4    A    St Ignatius (1-2)    [I:1]
10/12    H    Football North (via Clarkson SS) (ON) (0-1)
10/19    A    Archbishop Moeller (3-0)    [I:4]
10/26    H    Archbishop Hoban (2-1)    [II:5]
