I noticed a tidbit about McRoberts...if he stays long enough, I firmly believe that he'll be a Duke legend..check this out.

Sophomore Josh McRoberts is currently averaging 12.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.35 blocks and 1.25 steals per game. No player in Duke history has averaged more than 10.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals for a season.

Sounds like they are making a case for McRoberts to be inducted into the baseball hall of fame (eg. such and such is the only player to hit 300 HRs, steal 300 bases, and collect 300 walks over a 10 year span  ).

In all seriousness I think McRoberts is a really crafty player. He somewhat reminds me of a European type player. If anything, I do not think he is assertive enough often times on the offensive end. I do think he has the ability to be really good.

On the numbers themselves... If those are legendary numbers, then the hall of legends would be expanded by about 1000 people.

For him to be a Legend they better get a new PG and win some Titles in the next 3 years.

Reads like a guy who every team in the country would love to have...

Maybe a legend in Durham. Maybe.

^I could care a less if UK had him or not...

Fine with me.....

As long as it doesn't read like a guy who is "legendary"...;)

:thumb: Exactly, that is why the thread was started...

Appearetnly UK would kill to have a player like this.

McRoberts is good, but has a long way to go to become one of Duke's legendary.

Legendary? Is that what passes for lengendary at Duke? I'll tell you what legendary is.... How about averaging 44 points a game for three years. How about holding the NCAA scoring title for over thirty years (without a freshman year or the three point shot). McRoberts sounds like a fine young man that is also a fine player but I wouldn't use the word "legendary".
