Yes, it's only a scrimmage, but this one could be an important early look to see how each one of these teams, widely considered to be in the title conversation in their respective classes, perform against another high caliber ball club. 

Obviously, some coaches coach completely different and have a different set of criteria than others, but this provides both these teams a chance to maybe see how some of their deficiencies stack up against a quality opponent or how they may be able to take advantage of some of their weapons, which neither team has a shortage of. 

Jack James going head to head with Brady Atwell at the quarterback position along with all the supporting cast they both have to work with has a lot of people interested in this one. 

PT has one scrimmage under their belt, against Madisonville. The alternating first half of 10 plays each, PT outscored Madisonville 7 touchdowns to zero and outscored Madisonville 21-7 in the second half. I know OC scrimmaged Meade County and have seen very little about how that went, so if you know, feel free to let us know.

Should be a good one. I would think PT would win this one.

OC from the few highlights I’ve seen had there way with Meade County. Score was 34-7 when I was watching. 
 

PT vs OC should be a good 1. 2 high powered offenses going at it. Will this be streamed anywhere?

Yes, it's a scrimmage but this is a scrimmage worth watching. Being scrimmage two makes it more "real". I hope you make it to the game.

This setup should favor PT - if the QB can’t be tackled.  That’s a lot of OCs run game and Atwell will run you over.  If it’s only touch on the QB it’s not going to play out like it really would.

But can the QB still run even though it's two hand touch on tackling him?

Going to be a fun scrimmage two good football teams going head to head with good QBs Atwell And James this could be a good early look for both teams.

Does any Catholic or PT fans know if QB's are live? I agree with a post above that if they allow live QB play it will benefit Catholic, however, if they are two hand touch then PT will benefit from this rule.

I do not care what they allow the QBs to do, as long as they can throw the ball is all that matters...This one is still worth any price of admission. By far the one of the best scrimmages on the schedule. 2 potential state champs with Mr. Kentucky candidates on the teams and with athletes that have already committed to college for football and baseball. This is must see especially for a pure fan of football...this scrimmage should be full of action offensively and defensively....

Going to be tough for any QB to throw it on a quick whistle or tag.

Excited to try and catch this one on Friday. I'm familiar with Martels Carter, Jack James, & Strickland kid from PT. I've heard they have had an influx of talent and offers going out to other players.

Who are some other names to keep an eye and watch for on the Blue Tornado?

They have an impressive number of WRs that goes 7+ deep.  One of them that I am not familiar with is Brendan Brown and I think he has offers from UK and Ole Miss.  The Coach’s son is a Freshman (holdback) and has offers from UK and U of L - A. Thompson. There are several other very good ones - Josh Campbell and Hinton (committed to Vandy. 
Probably the two defensive names that stand out to me are X Cleary on the D line and Mooney - a LB.

I think PT has an offensive lineman that is going to be a junior who is in the range of 6’6” 300 lbs that is being heavily recruited by power 5 programs.  Can someone confirm?
