I could see this lead to a ripple effect.  Will be hard to sell to your feeder system players.  Other options, with mins available that will no longer be there. 

There's always the question of how well they'll mesh with the players who are already there as well as with the coaches.   For everyone who's involved's sake one hopes it will be seamless.  That would be bad news for the rest of the region because an already strong Pulaski will have just gotten a big boost.  Farmer paired up with Anderson on. the front line would be a strong look and Phillips is a good shooter.

Totally agree. I think it’ll be theirs to lose if this all happens, assuming no chemistry issues. Which one can’t just assume. 

As the school year comes to a close for most any other basketball news heading into the summer?  Possible transfers, hires, summer events ..

I could see that happening.  A lot of them know kids from the other schools so it wouldn’t be like they were going in to a new school not knowing anybody.

So with the additions,  are you all taking PC to 3peat or the field?

Oh I don't know, I think anything like that is possible especially in today's climate.  I think it's a hard sell to parents/players that have came up through the PC feeder.  When one comes in (or two in this case) that means others who have been there sit.

Pulaski to three-peat. 

At the end of the season it would have been DCA, Wayne, and Pulaski in that order as the top 3 based on the RPI.  I don't know enough about Rockcastle to make a good assessment but they were 4th in the RPI ratings and Mercer was 5th.  Since then, the coaching changes and transfers have clouded the water.  

ON PAPER, it looks like Pulaski is a clear favorite and I'd say Wayne has taken themselves out of contention with everything that's gone on there.  I think DCA is a wild card just because of their size.  If the new coach can take advantage of that size and minimize their lack of experience they could be a spoiler in the region.  It may take until February before they figure it out, or it might not happen at all.  You could probably not draw up a more interesting coaching challenge if you tried.  Two 6-10+ players and a very experienced point guard.  Then, he's got a handful of young players who'll have to mature in a hurry.  

The thing is, basketball isn't played on paper and it will be interesting to see how these things work out.  Southwestern has some good young players and they've added Dumphord.  Somerset has some young talent but like DCA, they're not real deep.

West Jessamine is the team to watch. They just had 2 kids get D1 offers. Also Coach Adams is a great coach.

Serious question, what is the scoop with the offers?  I get the 6"11 kid potentially getting one as a project, but the returning guard avg. 6 PPG last year...  Has he shot up tremendously in size, or what?  I do think they'll be much improved under Coach Adams. 

West Jessamine was 8-21 and finished 13th in the region based on RPI.  If they are a contender in the 12th region it will be a tremendous turnaround.
