If, and that is a big if, but IF Highlands can get hot and stay hot from the arc, it could be a game.  Cooper isn't a finished product yet with the pieces just getting back together, but they are live to win the 9th and this game will likely not see them yet at their best.  Highlands' only chance is blistering from the arc, and hope that Cooper is still feeling out the roles, but even then, Sully's guys would likely still have enough to get their noses across the finish line.

If, and only if, all the things @The Double Deuce said happen for the Birds, they will move on.

I just remember last year, when the bright lights of Truist were turned on the Birds almost pulled it out.  Need the same thing to happen on Wednesday, just got to finish the improbable.

That was a very fun game to watch last year. As you all have said if Highlands gets hot from the outside, they could make it interesting. So will Highlands revenge last year loss, or will Cooper continue ending sport seasons for the Highlands Bluebirds. First last year in basketball in the regional tournament, then in football in the state semi-finals, and now once again the season is on the line between these two schools.

Go Jags!

I’ve stated since the beginning of the year that Cooper is the deepest team in NKY and I stand by that. The Jags will go 10 deep with very little drop off and they now have had 3 games under their belt at FULL strength. Their district was arguably the toughest in NKY and they came out of it solid.

Defense again will be the key and if Pouncy continues on the tear he’s been on the last 3 games I like the Jags. I will say that if the Jags don’t significantly reduce the turnovers and clean up the FTs it could be more than interesting.

I am not going to make it to Northern Ky tonight now for this one, but I will be listening to 859sportsradio.com and I will provide some updates on here from my listen.
