"Hey, I'm winning in this town with the men's team and still no one pays attention to me....how can I change that? I got it, I'll go to the Women's game and make it all about me. Yeah, that's a great idea. I'll make a fool of myself to guarantee that all of the cameras are pointing at me and I'm the one everyone is talking about the day after. This'll be great."

If Bruce would have gotten Phil Fulmer to stand next to him, he could have spelled Tennessee on his belly and Fulmer could have spelled Volunteers, on his belly.

"Get in my belly!"

I like Pearl . I may not trust him but I like him.

Bruce Pearl is the kind of coach most kids dream to play for...

If he was interested in "supporting the Lady Vols and Tennessee" he would have been sitting in Row 3, on the aisle, in jeans and a golf shirt signing autographs for 12 year olds. Instead he took the most outlandish route possible to draw as much attention to himself as he could. Sorry if that makes me a "hater."

How is that any different than a HS boy's coach particpating in a pep rally for the girl's team? The boy's coach could wear the school colors and stand in the corner or he could be an active participant in supporting the girls' team.

You think what he did was completely altruistic and all about the Lady Vols then don't let me stand in the way of that train of thought. I think your analogy and UT Basketball are not the least big analogous, but that's just me. You honestly think Pat Summitt was happy with that stunt? We're still talking about Bruce Pearl 3 days later...hmm? You think that'd be the case if he took a more traditional approach of support?

I think it is hilarious that he did this!!!

This song came to mind when I saw that photo this morning!

"If you want my body and you think I'm sexy

come on honey tell me so

If you really need me just reach out and touch me

come on sugar let me know"

I think it is great what he did! Makes me actually like him now, even though he coaches Tennessee!!!!

I assume all of you that think it was a swell and completely self-less act would feel the same way if Mickie DeMoss was in a bikini top in the eRUPPtion zone?

I think that someone on another site summed it up perfectly. It probably wasn't as much about school spirit as it was self promotion.

I could do without that, but if Ashley Judd wants to put one on....
