very cool move. Don't think you'd see many coaches even attend thier female counterparts' games much less sit with the students and bust out the body paint.

Any body who is watchin the women's Tennessee and Duke basketball game should check out his nice orange body paint...talk about school spirit...i dont think i have ever seen a coach do this...and he is in the student section...

I like it, I think it is great for the game. What recruit wouldn't want to go play for a guy like that?:thumb:

Kind of off the wall but I love it. Shows a lot of heart for the program.

That is why the UT attendance has sky rocketed this year. I know a guy in the UT ticket office and he told me that season ticketholders tripled this year.

Id like to see Tubby do this. Well I wouldnt wanna see it but hear about it lol haha.

I'd like to see pearl do it again, only in BLUE!!!

ESPN's cold pizza program just was interviewing Pearl about this ans ask him if Pat Summit wa sgoing to do some thing to return the favor when the Vols play Fla. in Knoxville later in the year. Pearl stated " I can promise you that she will not be painting her chest   , but she will do something, we support each other's program".

"Hey, I'm winning in this town with the men's team and still no one pays attention to me....how can I change that? I got it, I'll go to the Women's game and make it all about me. Yeah, that's a great idea. I'll make a fool of myself to guarantee that all of the cameras are pointing at me and I'm the one everyone is talking about the day after. This'll be great."

Thats great I love to see the enthusiasm from Pearl but I cannot stand that dreaded orange blazer.

School pride? Supporting the women's program? Enthusiasm for the University? Hanging out with the students like he is one of them? School spirit?

"...I got some...ocean front property in Arizona..."

Bruce Pearl is a great man? Are you familiar with some of his actions? He's a good basketball coach and his idea of basketball is very entertaining & exciting. He's passionate and intense, but I don't know that I'd call him a "great man".

   You may be right about this one.:D

I'm sure Bruce Pearl isn't the greatest X's and O's coach in the country but he's the kind of guy you want being around your students, and teaching them about life. It's also great for the program that he supports the other sports the way he does.

I agree with all your comments about Pearl Except him being the kind of guy that you would want teaching your students about life. I am not buying into that one.:sssh: :D JMO.
