I really like this UK team. I usually despise two or three guys on the roster, but not this season.

Other than Wagner. He’s cost me big money this year.

It does seem like a good group and they have good chemistry. That will carry a team deep into tournament play.

I will say 2 things about Cal:

-offensive sets look MUCH better this year, glad to see him finally make some changes

-really glad to see he’s got us fighting over those 1,2 - 4,5 ballscreens instead of an automatic switch, that has killed us for years, D is much better and we don’t have our center guarding the other teams guards at the 3 pt line, hat tip to you Cal

Good team win with many contributors on a night that two starters (Wagner & Bradshaw) combined for only 4 points and you still put up 95 points.

Keeping with that theme, Wagner was the only player to play more than a few minutes that actually had a negative +/-  at -4.  He played 18 minutes and finished with 2 points. Wagner was 1-6 shooting, 1 assist, 1 turnover and 1 reobound.

He crushed my SGP tonight. But I had a decent amount on Kentucky to cover -13.5.

Kentucky took care of business. Really enjoy watching this team.

I’ve learned my lesson putting him in SGP. He’s single handedly cost me over $1000 this season. 

Good win as they did what they should do against a bad team. Hopefully this game gives Edwards a little more confidence going forward. They need to get him consistently going, or else I would love to see Theiro start to get more of his minutes.

Time to mention this again - John Welch. The best addition to UK this year. New Assistant Coach. Dribble Drive offense guru. Ten years NBA experience. I have been telling people he would make a difference since he was hired back in the spring.

Guru gave the definition. Basically picking multiple things to happen in the same game. For example I needed Reeves, Mitchell, and Wagner to score a certain number of points and UK to win by 14 or more. Everything landed but Wagner's points.
