The Cats and the Tar Heels two of college basketball true blue bloods they are the #1 and #3 winningest programs in NCAA history. This game is part of the yearly CBS Sports Classic this year's game is in Atlanta. Both teams are coming into this game at 7-2. The Cats coming off a win today in Philly over the University of Penn. The Tar Heels have not played since Dec. 5 when they lost by 9 to #1 UConn. The game is on CBS and is scheduled to tip at 5:30. Go Cats!

Always hate this stretch in December when they only play one game a week.

UK is due for really big shooting game.  This team has shown the ability to raise their level against better teams and seem to play much better against the top teams.  I expect them to look like they did vs Kansas and Miami and not the team from the bulk of Sat game vs Penn or the team that played St Joe's.

Scuttlebut is that our 2nd big will be healed enough to play some minutes in this game.

Kentucky  92-86.

Part of it yes.  Typically it's the middle of December to beginning of January when the students are out of classes and the schedule isn't busy.

From Les Dixon.

Cats lead 9-4 at the under 16 timeout.

It’s finals week, they had to go to class and take finals….

Go up 9 and the last two possessions were terrible with two awful shots need to get the ball to Sheppard and get into the offense.

That was an ugly foul, reminded me of the Duke punk Greyson whatever

A lot of running
