January 24, 200719 yr The other day, they went upwards instead of across. Do shooting stars go a certain direction or could they go from down to up. I would guess that if you are seeing several of them then they are not meteors, as there is no strong meteor shower occuring during this time. However, meteors could appear to come from the horizon and extend upward, so through a camera view, they could "go up".

Microsoft Explorer is what I am using and it works fine. I have Mozilla Firefox as well and it it says media inactive. Also, you may need to download a plugin.
January 24, 200719 yr I have firefox and it works fine... I needed a plugin for Firefox. But it works better on Internet Explorer, for me. I watch the cam at work and our network is finicky.
