Maybe one, possibly two wins.  I don't see more than that.  What's concerning is that the three most winnable games are on the road.

I don’t see more than 2 wins left on the schedule at best. 
 

I personally believe the only way UK wins 2 more is if Davis goes off and UK dominates the line of scrimmage on offense like the Florida game against South Carolina and Miss. St. Considering UK is little to no threat to stretch the field vertically I think the team’s remaining on the schedule will continue to play their safeties down hill and dare us to beat them throwing. 
 

Hope I am wrong and the Cats get it together. 
 

We as fans can keep a late season collapse like this from occurring in the future if we will just “Pony Up” (Sorry I just can’t let go of such a stupid comment)

These penalties and lack of discipline have been a staple of Stoops' teams quite literally the entire time he has been at Kentucky.

He’s done really well at Ky the past few years, I try and focus on his success rather than the negatives during his tenure, isn’t he the wins leader in UK football history?

So let’s all just throw in the towel with UK football!! Somehow they still manage to fill the stadium and somehow manage to fill the parking lots with tailgating and festival like atmospheres so how can they be finished?? True fans will continue this and stay positive with a team that needs to reset and move forward, nonbelievers should stay home and not even watch the games. The winningest coach in UK football history can and will rally the troops!! Let’s goooooo!!

There has been a ton of blame placed on the passing game, rightfully so. The defense in my opinion deserves much more blame than they are receiving this season. The opposition is constantly in short yardage situations when they get to third down. Part of the reason is that Kentucky's base defense seems to be a soft zone with a goal of not getting beat deep. So most teams just nickel and dime it down the field. The majority of UK's defensive stops I feel come from unforced errors by the opposition. Penalties or misses in the passing game from drops or bad passes. If a team doesn't hold, and can complete short passes our defense struggles to stop them. UK struggles getting pressure on the QB when blitzing which leads again to easy completions.

I know the offense has been called out for averaging the least amount of plays per game, again they deserve some of the blame. But defense allowing long sustained drives every game, eats into the possession time for the offense also.

This is the most frustrating team I can remember watching, since Coach Stoops arrived.

My frustration is because nearly all of their issues are self inflicted. This team has the potential to be as good as any UK team that we've seen. They can absolutely turn it around, and I hope that they do.

I guess nikeman49 can't handle us criticising Stoops? Keeps bringing up all time wins and they're currently 5-2. Yes they are 5-2 but they are going to be hard pressed to not finish 6-6 because off all the self inflicted mistakes. You can't justify fans negativity towards selfish stupid penalties and the passing game being mediocre at best, so that's all you have. Nikeman49 are you ok with cheap shots? You ok with our highly paid coach telling us to "pony up"? Why doesn't he take $2 million a year from his salary and put it into the NIL?

Coaches aren't allowed to donate to NIL...it's one of the few rules.

Bad take. 
 

Pointing out clear deficiencies of a team does not make someone a bad fan. They may not be an ostrich with their head buried in the sand, but you can still support a team while keeping a realistic outlook. 
 

Stoops has done a really good job of raising the floor of a UK Football season. Now he has had help (weak out of conference, UofL slipping, and the SEC East was not as strong as years past until Kirby came to Georgia) but credit given where credit is due he has done his part. 
 

With that said he has still done very little to raise the ceiling of a UK Football season. We sell more tickets, better atmosphere, lots of preseason excitement but in the end we still hover around the same place by year end. 6, 7 wins with a chance at 8 when UofL is down and beating Vandy along with a couple of weaker SEC teams. 
 

There have been highs sure. But for every Gator Bowl there is also not covering a WR against FL. Winning at Tennessee and losing to Vandy. Can’t only remember the highs and not the lows (or vice-versa)
 

I like Stoops and still think this team is talented but for whatever reason it has not clicked unless we are beating bad teams or Davis goes off. When looking at the schedule there are no more Ball State and Vandy. UofL is cooking with Brohm (will really make recruiting more difficult as well) and Tennessee and Alabama are more talented than us. Not saying we can’t beat them, but if we play like we have so far this season I don’t see how we defeat them unless they help us (turnovers and penalties). If being realistic makes me a bad fan then being a blindly loyal follower of Stoops should make you a bad fan as well. 
 

Go buy some more t-shirts since Stoops thinks that is what cost us the Georgia game.
