The atmosphere should be electric and could be the most energetic things have been in Louisville next weekend in quite a while. I can’t wait to go to the game! Who wins?

Notre Dame should win this game.  They need to get their receiving corps healthy, though, because they can't afford another Duke-like effort offensively.

Jack Plummer has been far too inconsistent for me to think Louisville has a shot to win this. Atmosphere should be fantastic, though. First sell out in four years.

Plummer’s play will make or break things in determining their chances IMO. I fully agree with you about his inconsistency.

I look for a similar outcome as the Notre Dame/Duke game.  Irish by a touchdown.

I agree.

Now get back under the sink.

Notre Dame 35-20.

One thing in Louisville's favor is Notre Dame is playing back-to-back road games which isn't easy. I hope Louisville wins but Notre Dame has big O-Line and big RB and that may be the difference. I'll say Notre Dame by 7.

I'm a little torn on this one. I feel as though Notre Dame is about 14 points better than Louisville.  However, Notre Dame hasn't scored over 21 against their last two opponents and the game is at Louisville.   28-17 Notre Dame seems about right.

I agree with your point that will be the bigger concern with the OL and running game for the Irish. If Plummer and the receivers are on, it could be more interesting than some may be thinking, which comes back to the question for Louisville offensively, which version of Plummer shows up?

Happy Hour beers…
