I have always said that when you are winning, you don’t need any friends and when you are losing, you don’t have any friends. We are talking about Pre-Game Punt team so the Birds must be winning. I am definitely modifying my post game dinner reservation so that I do not miss any of the excitement this week.

I like my Birds by 2 scores this week with a valiant effort from those hard working Dixie Colonels!

The Dixie/Beechwood game was streamed there three weeks ago, but they didn't do the Boone County game last week. With this being Highlands, I'd like to think they'll stream it. Can't say for sure, though. 

I’ll be honest, I am a Dixie parent and did not realize they steamed the Beechwood game, but I was there and wasn’t looking for it either.

I thought the only time they had streamed was when fans were limited due to Covid.

I think they are cashless at the gate.  They use GoFan.

I think Dixie will find the end zone on special teams this week, most likely kickoff return. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a blocked punt.
I personally think Highlands DBs matchup well against Dixie’s WRs. If Gregg has time and puts the ball where it needs to be like he can do then it will open up the run game for him and Anderson.

I know this Dixie group is ready for Friday, I just hope they Start strong and finally finish a game. 

Couple things I am interested in seeing:

1. How Dixie works to find mismatches for Brache Rice against HHS DBs. To me, he can change the game against the Birds' defense. He makes me nervous. If he is not utilized in a major way offensively, I think it is a huge failure on Dixie's part. 

2. Can the Red Colonels contain the Birds' running game? I use the word contain purposefully as I don't see them stopping the run completely - but forcing Benke to pass, I feel, is their best course of action.
