It’s definitely a Purple Poulet kind of day and will definitely be connecting with @Fan of Karen in the Touchdown Club Parking lot for the Best pre-game festivities in all of Kentucky! And Post-game, (after we cook those Colonels), we are going to pack out the Greenline to celebrate our Birds ? Victory!

Pregame starts at 4pm?

It’s only a select few that always need the same reminder… ?

Pick your Bird!

That Sounds BRUTAL and I like it! From what we are seeing from the JV and Frosh results, it looks like it’s gonna be tough sledding for the rest of NKY moving forward. GO BIRDS!

Duly noted. How did their JV do today?

If this is correct, it appears there will be a fierce battle between Cooper and Covington Catholic for Second Place ?! Good Luck Boys!

Impressive. What was the Dixie/Highlands score and any chance they meet again this season?

That’s really a great pic! The Birds let one get away and look forward to this rematch in November which most likely happens! Copper and Oak was great and can’t wait for the return and better outcome!

Oh what a glorious day for Friday Night Football. There is nothing better than a trip to Danville, KY to dine at Copper and Oak and to cheer the Birds to Victory! The Old Fashions are amazing but the Paloma may be more fitting given our mission today! The Prom Trotter is my fav with origins dating back to the 1920’s prohibition era and is definitely one to please. We plan to get this party started early with Happy Hour beginning at approx 4:30pm! See you there @Fan of Karen ? Sincerely, Charles

From what I was told at the Greenline tonight, nobody should bring their B team against any Highlands team these next 4 years….

Brick by brick! Hard work pays off! More to come….

See you there….

I am thinking Birds in a Dog ? Fight! But more importantly Crème Brûlée or Tiramisu and an Espresso Martini for post game celebration???

Our Freshman Bluebirds have won the past 4 contests against the Colonels and the past two in dramatic fashion. From what I heard about yesterday, the boys did not have to break a sweat and minus a few self induced miscues, the door would have been shut much earlier. Based upon analytics, I would hypothesize that you best enjoy this varsity year while it lasts and hope for the best (this year). ?

Looks like it was a great night for our young Baby Birds! I thought the Colonels were supposed to be next level with this Freshman class. Is Highlands that good or were the Colonels not as good as advertised?

It’s certainly has been a series of streaks both ways. Let’s hope that continues!

Always a pleasure. Did I ever tell you my real name is Charles?

Karen, I did know that but thank you for the note. I really enjoy my horse meat with Shiitake Mushrooms and a side of Lotus Root and I have a great recipe for Creamy Horseradish in case you would like it. A Mint Julep sounds amazing! I am heading to the Midway now if you are free. See you soon! Woody

It will indeed be a beautiful night and even more beautiful with a Birds Win. The 14oz Prime Rib at the Greenline has the most amazing Au Jus and tastes even better after a Bluebird victory. @Fan of Karen must be a nervous wreck at the moment!

It will undoubtedly an outstanding contest in Fort Thomas at David Cecil Memorial Stadium. The better conditioned team which makes the fewest mistakes will most likely win this opening round contest of evenly matched teams.

The Highlands Defense looked very strong. Still missing some key pieces to the puzzle which will be back soon.

FANTASTIC!

Jack White was a great Highlands RB even though he was slated for NC in Middle Shool!

Mason Howard is 6’4 and going to move some earth this season.
