Call me crazy, but it seems like Ryle’s coaching staff can never figure it out. I sure hope they can do something with this talent for the next “2 years”. Ryle always seems to have talent, but never really do much with it… 

Have to give Highlands coaches and players credit for cleaning things up. Very, very few penalties(maybe 2 or 3 all game). No personal fouls. No taunting, dancing, pointing, antagonizing or any of that over the top business that was causing a problem. But, the team still played with energy and emotion. If you’re a Highlands fan you have to like what you saw.

Agreed! A lot of growth and maturity shown by players and coaches!  If we can continue to grow like that every week this season, boy this could be a special one.

You are not crazy lol. Been going on for a few years now.

Congrats to the Birds on a dominating win. No comments on Ryle’s egg. Highlands is capable of winning 5A but Dixie and Cooper will not be easy games.

It’s important to give credit where credit is due, and the birds looked much improved. Really happy to see the lack of extracurriculars and improvement on defense. That was a great brand of football to watch and root for. Coach Sphire deserves credit for cleaning things up. Let’s keep it going!

Spot on with this post.  Birds played with plenty of emotion without all of the nonsense.  Let their play do the talking and the result was a businesslike W.

Because he plays defense as well, Luke imo best all around player for Highlands. He does so much so well. Hopefully big things to come!

Kudos to whoever told Sphire to get things cleanup up. I highly doubt it was his idea.
