When does Gabe Williams get back? Don’t think you necessarily need him back for this game, but would be a good game to get his feet back under him if he is ready to go. Highlands have been just fine without him, but they will need him down the stretch.

Not sure, but I think it might have to do with his 3 previous touchdowns from that night.

Ryle at Highlands Predictions/Updates
Roll with 22 rest of the way out if they want to win the game

Highlands 94 Boyle County 71
This Highlands group is young and is made up of all juniors and 2 sophomores who get significant minutes (Lorenzen and Harris). They like to press and get up and down and shoot a lot of 3s. They got 2 guys in Vinny Listerman and Nathan Rickard who have varsity experience from last year (both starters). The rest of the junior class along with the 2 sophomores listed, brought home a JV championship last year. This is a very talented group and they are winners. They have yet to play a good team, but the month of January will tell us a lot with CCH, Ryle, Newport, & Cooper.

Pulaski County at Highlands Predictions/Updates
I think everyone enjoyed seeing him run the rock. He is a special player and can do it all. Rio is special , but it has been a nice change of pace for the offense seeing Tayden do what he does. Keep rolling Birds! #1MARCH

Part of me hated listening to them. But part of me enjoyed listening to their delusional commentary. It was bizarre. And the administration allowed that all season?

Highlands at Covington Catholic Predictions/Updates
4 new starters and you don’t have Geisler and Benke back there running the rock. I’m not saying that they won’t be able to do to that this year, but it takes time for an offensive line to gel. I thought they looked fine and people aren’t giving them enough credit. To your point El Diablo, they did have a lot of preseason hype coming around them. I agree with JOAT though, the offensive scheme is frustrating as a fan. Not enough intermediate passes pushing the ball down the field while we throw screens, rpos, and deep shots.

2024 Highlands Bluebirds
Senior. He was a big time contributor last year. 39 receptions for 584 yards and a total of 7 touchdowns. Him and Jackson Arnold will be a handful for teams. Curious who will step up and become that 3rd receiver? Litmer is confirmed QB1?

Wouldn't mind seeing Merz and this kid go head to head.

Lorenzen and Cale Harris split reps both on the freshman level and junior varsity level. Tayden plays exactly like his dad, but he is a righty. Cale is a stud and can sling the ball on a rope. Tayden was the better Tight End out of the 2 of them, so he ended up playing more TE. However, when Tayden was at QB, it was electric. Each of them got enough reps at the Freshman and JV level to where I am not concerned that they will be contributors at the varsity level soon, may that be at QB??? Only time will tell, but they are 2 great athletes and better kids.
